Episode 1 – Wednesday February 10th 7pm-8:30pm
Nail it: We will be discussing all things related to the first session, from nailing the intake before the client even gets to your session to how to manage time expectations in the first session, managing parents and children in the first session, setting goals, treatment plans and much much more.
Episode 2 – Wednesday February 17th 7pm-8:30pm
Nourish it: Managing relationships, all of them, from the client, clients significant others, referrers, and other external agencies involved whether that be the school, CAMHS or Speech Pathologists and OTs, nourishing and nurturing these relationships is key to beginning and maintaining a successful client journey.
Episode 3 – Wednesday February 24th 7pm-8:30pm
Negotiate it: This session is all about managing complex situations, such as separated families, I will talk about how I managed to go almost 25 years without a subpoena! How having policies and procedures will help you avoid sticky situations and how to have difficult conversations.
Session 4 – Wednesday March 3rd 7pm-8:30pm
Navigate it: In this session we will talk about new assessments and how to navigate those complex assessments you might have had training in but are more complex to put into action such as the ADI-R and ADOS-II.
