Early Years Consultation Sessions

Price range: $385.00 through $660.00

Does your team ever need guidance on how to best support children, parents, or even each other—but aren’t quite sure where to start?

Helping your team feel confident in the moments that matter.

Our Early Years Consultation Sessions provide kindergartens and childcare centres with direct access to an experienced psychologist for practical, real-world support.

These sessions are designed to help educators feel more confident responding to everyday challenges in early childhood settings—without adding complexity or pressure.

What We Can Support With

Each session is flexible and guided by your team. Common areas include:

  • Managing separation anxiety (for both children and parents)
  • Supporting children experiencing anxiety, big emotions, or behavioural challenges
  • Navigating transitions (starting care, room changes, school readiness)
  • Understanding and responding to early signs of developmental or emotional concerns
  • Supporting parent communication around sensitive topics
  • Building strategies to support regulation, attachment, and social engagement
  • Supporting staff wellbeing and confidence in challenging situations

How It Works

  • A 60-minute consultation session
  • Delivered online or in person
  • Your team brings questions, scenarios, or challenges
  • We provide practical strategies, guidance, and direction

Think of it as having a psychologist “in your corner” for the hour—to support your team in a way that feels relevant and immediately usable.

What This Is (and Isn’t)

This is:

  • A general consultation to support educators and teams
  • Practical, discussion-based guidance tailored to your setting
  • Focused on building confidence and capability across your team

This is not:

  • Individualised advice about a specific child
  • Assessment, diagnosis, or therapy
  • Specific recommendations about a child without parent consent and formal referral

The Aim

To help your team feel more confident, supported, and equipped when navigating the everyday complexities of working with young children and their families.

Investment

  • Online session: $350 + GST
  • In-person session: $600 + GST

Travel is included for locations within 30 minutes of our clinic.

What Happens Next?

After booking, your session will be scheduled at a time that suits your team.

On the day, you’ll meet with one of our psychologists for a 60-minute consultation, where your team can bring along questions, situations, or challenges you’d like guidance on.

The session is designed to be practical and responsive in the moment, giving you relevant strategies and direction you can take straight back into your setting.

When Can It Run?

Sessions can be delivered at a time that works best for your team, including:

  • During staff meetings or professional development time
  • At the beginning or end of the day
  • As part of planned team training or reflection sessions

We aim to keep delivery flexible and easy to integrate into your existing schedule.
