Parent Education for Supporting Your Neurodivergent Child
Within an interactive, small-group format, parents will receive the most current information about neurodiversity to deepen their knowledge about their child’s autism and/or ADHD brain style. Parents will gain an understanding of their child’s experiences and needs as they are reflected through behaviour and emotions. They will learn affirmative parenting responses and ways to alter their child’s environment to assist in building their child’s relationships, emotional regulation and self-esteem. Resources will be provided to continue the learning journey beyond the group sessions.
