Surveillance Policy

At Solution Psychology we prioritize the safety and security of our employees and clients. To ensure a secure environment, we use surveillance cameras in public areas. This policy aims to provide transparency regarding the use, storage, and access to the recordings generated by these cameras. Please read this section carefully to understand how we handle the collected information. 

Purpose of Surveillance: 

The primary purpose of our surveillance cameras is to deter criminal activity, maintain a safe environment, and protect the well-being of our employees and clients. 

Recording and Storage: 

  1. All surveillance cameras in public areas are recording and capturing visual data. These recordings are securely stored on-site for a maximum period of 14 days. 
  2. The recordings are stored locally within our premises, eliminating any external access or cloud storage. 

Data Collection and Processing: 

  1. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) through our surveillance cameras. 
  2. Our CCTV system does not incorporate artificial intelligence or facial recognition technology, ensuring that no identifying information is captured or processed. 

Access to Recordings: 

  1. Access to the recorded footage is restricted to authorized personnel within the leadership team. Only individuals with a legitimate need for the recordings can access them. 
  2. Access to the recordings may also be provided in compliance with applicable legal requirements. 

Data Privacy and Protection: 

  1. We prioritise the protection of your privacy and the security of the information we collect. All recorded footage is securely stored and protected against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. 
  2. We adhere to relevant data protection regulations and industry best practices to safeguard the privacy of individuals captured on the surveillance footage.

A notice will be displayed prominently in areas covered by our surveillance cameras to inform individuals about the presence of surveillance. The notice will include the following information:
