Ages: From 9 years

Tina is a provisional psychologist with a deep passion for providing inclusive, patient-centred psychological support. Tina is committed to facilitating meaningful interventions for individuals facing mental health difficulties. Tina’s approach is characterised by a commitment to embracing diversity and ensuring that every individual, regardless of their background, receives the comprehensive and empathetic care they deserve. Her practice is highly influenced by her experience with neurodivergent individuals, making her a dedicated neuro-affirming clinician.

Tina’s flexibility and collaborative methods are central to her practice, allowing her to tailor interventions that meet the unique needs of each client. She has worked extensively with a variety of presentations, including autism, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, behavioural difficulties, depression, and intellectual developmental disability in public settings. Tina is also skilled in conducting cognitive assessments.

In her therapeutic work, Tina employs principles from cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions. Her background in working with clients of diverse ages and cultures has greatly enhanced her ability to connect with people from various walks of life. Tina’s academic pursuits, including a systematic review on culturally adapted CBT and an honours thesis on suicide prevention education, have solidified her commitment to evidence-based practice.

Beyond her professional commitments, Tina finds joy and balance in hobbies that nurture her well-being, such as exploring nature and going on walks, attending Pilates classes, visiting cool new restaurants and cafes, and spending quality time with loved ones.
