He/Him
Provisional Psychologist
Starting 19th January 2026
Ages: 6-25
Hi, my name’s Stephen and I’m a Provisional Psychologist with a passion for supporting young people and their families. In the lives of my clients, the people close to me and indeed my own, I’ve seen how compassionate, well-timed support can have a deep and lasting impact. I provide a therapeutic space where children and adolescents feel safe, understood and genuinely cared for.
In my work with young people I take a strengths based approach, which means that I always start with the belief that the best way to help a person is to help them be the best version of themself. Whether it’s been working as a psychologist in a specialist school environment, providing mental health crisis support or mentoring young adults, I’ve always found that growth can only begin a person feels valued for who they are.
I’m trained in both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance And Commitment Therapy and love to find ways to bring play and creativity into my sessions. I love pop culture, music, video games and riding my bike out in the bush where it’s quiet.
