Ross is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist who works with children, adolescents and adults across assessment and therapy. He completes autism and ADHD assessments across the lifespan, as well as cognitive, psychoeducational and behavioural assessments.
Ross also provides therapy for anxiety, low mood, emotion regulation difficulties, stress, adjustment and other life challenges, drawing on CBT, ACT, DBT, person-centred and solution-focused approaches.
Ross takes a warm and collaborative approach, creating a space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. His practice is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed and strengths-based, with a focus on understanding each person’s individual needs and developing practical strategies that fit into their lives. When working with young people, Ross values collaboration with parents, school staff and other health professionals.
Outside of work, Ross enjoys travel, playing several sports including some genuinely average golf, keeping active, spending time with his partner and managing the attitude of their dog, a curly noodle poodle named Ramen.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
- Master of Educational Psychology
- Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Psychology Practice
- Registered Psychologist with endorsement in Educational and Developmental Psychology
- Member of the Australian Psychological Society
