Katherine is a provisional psychologist completing her Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology. She conducts both therapy intervention and assessments. Katherine has experience and training in autism, ADHD, cognitive and educational assessments, and a particular interest in working with neurodiverse children, addiction, and eating disorders.
Katherine’s therapy approach is tailored to meet each client’s unique needs and draws from a range of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Play based therapies. Katherine also has experience working closely with clients, their families, educators and other professionals to ensure a well supported and holistic approach to care.
When Katherine isn’t working she enjoys dance, bouldering and spending time with her ragdoll cat Annabelle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
- Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology (Current)
- Doctor of Philosophy
- Registered Provisional Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, AHPRA
- Student Member of the Australian Psychological Society
