Cindy is an experienced Educational and Developmental Psychologist who has worked with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including primary and secondary schools, tertiary education, research, and hospital environments.

Cindy is committed to supporting individuals and their families/ carers to live well and learn well through psychological therapy and assessments. She is particularly passionate about working with individuals who are neurodiverse, from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, identify as sexually and gender diverse, are international students, or are newly arrived migrants to Australia. With a strong interest in LGBTQIA+ issues, Cindy’s Master’s research focused on mental health and bullying among Australian high school students of diverse sexualities and genders.

Adopting a client-centred, neuroaffirming, and gender-affirming approach, Cindy draws from evidence-based therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies, tailoring them to suit the needs of her clients.

Beyond work, Cindy is an avid foodie and an active member of her local Muay Thai gym.

While Cindy’s practice is predominantly delivered in English, she is also able to communicate in Mandarin (Chinese). Please contact Solution Psychology if you require therapy or assessment services in Mandarin.
