Program Overview

Solution Psychology are coming to Sea Lake! Join us for an exciting group program designed for primary aged children. The session will be held at the Sea Lake Community Complex. Come along and meet our psychologists.

About Presenter

Stephanie Costigan

B PSYCH (HONS), MPSYCH (PROFESSIONAL)

Ages: 5 – 25 years old

Stephanie is a registered psychologist, who has completed her Master of Professional Psychology at Monash University.

Stephanie is highly passionate about providing person-centred psychological support to clients who are experiencing a range of mental health and psychosocial difficulties. Through her warm and compassionate interpersonal style, which is centred on establishing a solid therapeutic relationship and adjusting her approach to meet specific needs, Stephanie creates a safe environment for her clients. She sees each individual as unique and aims to help her clients comprehend the underlying function of their mental health and well-being. Stephanie values supporting her clients holistically and collaborating with parents, teachers and other health professionals to foster a greater understanding of her clients’ strengths and challenges.

Stephanie has experience working with a wide range of psychological concerns across the lifespan in her previous position in a private practice setting. She has worked with individuals who have experienced challenges with stress, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), trauma, and phobias. Stephanie draws upon a wide variety of evidence-based psychological treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Interventions (MBI) and other therapeutic approaches.

When Stephanie isn’t supporting her clients at work, you will likely find her at the beach, practicing Pilates or yoga or spending time with friends and family.
