Program Overview
Crafty Crew
A social and creative art program
Does your child enjoy making things and expressing themselves through art? Crafty Crew is a warm and welcoming group designed for children who are keen to build social confidence, connect with others, and explore their creativity in a supportive environment.
Led by two of our provisional psychologists, this group offers a gentle and engaging space where children can practise important skills such as flexibility, collaboration, and emotional expression—while having fun through hands-on creative projects.
Who is this group for?
Crafty Crew is a great fit for children who are drawn to creative activities and may benefit from a smaller, structured setting to explore friendships. It’s particularly supportive for children who experience the world in their own unique way and who might find large or unstructured social settings a bit overwhelming at times.
Through shared creativity, the group encourages authentic connection, allowing friendships to develop naturally and confidence to grow.
What happens in each session?
Each session includes a mix of individual and collaborative art-based activities, group reflection, and plenty of opportunities for fun and connection. While activities are guided by a general structure, they are flexible and responsive to the interests of the children in the group.
Children may:
- Design their own empowering jewellery using beads, charms, and textures
- Create hidden mandalas as a form of self-expression
- Decorate masks to explore different identities and emotions
- Work together on collaborative creative projects
- Participate in group discussions and reflections
Our goal is to provide a safe and inclusive space where each child feels valued, heard, and supported.
Interested in joining?
If your child hasn’t attended Solution Psychology before, we’ll need to organise a brief intake appointment before they start (fees apply). This helps us make sure the group is a good fit and sets your child up for success.
To book or learn more, please contact our friendly team on 9988 7760.
We look forward to welcoming your child into Crafty Crew—a space where creativity and connection come together.

Julietta is a provisional psychologist completing her placement at Solution Psychology. She is passionate about providing personalised and meaningful support to clients, recognising that every individual’s journey is unique. She works with children, adolescents, and families to navigate a range of challenges, including emotional regulation, anxiety, and school-related concerns.
