Chris is an educational and developmental psychology registrar. Chris is passionate about working with people of all ages across the lifespan and helping them to achieve their potential. At the core of Chris’s practice is a strong commitment to embracing diversity. Believing in the importance of providing a judgment-free zone, Chris ensures that everyone, irrespective of gender, sexual orientation, or race, has access to a nurturing environment where their thoughts and emotions can be safely explored. Chris has worked with people who use English as an additional language, asylum seekers, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Chris has extensive experience in the out of home care sector (including foster, kinship, and residential care), working directly with young people exposed to trauma. Chris also has experience supporting children at schools with behaviour support, transition planning, safety planning, and professional development training for educators. Chris also has experience completing cognitive, learning, and behavioural assessments. Chris has been trained in trauma-informed practice, therapeutic crisis intervention, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). Chris uses a flexible and adaptive approach to meet the growing and changing goals of his clients.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys live music, camping, gaming, reading a good book, and spending time with fluffy feline companion, Vinilo.
